We are looking for an Operational Guidance Learning Co-ordinator to join our Operations Guidance Team within our Risk Intelligence Unit for an initial period of 12 months.  Although this role is a 12 month fixed term appointment, there may be the possibility of extension or permanency in accordance with AFRS requirements. 

The successful post-holder will support the work of the Operational Guidance team in the delivery of the National Operational Guidance implementation project. The post holder will be responsible for the learning and development of staff against implementing the National Operational Guidance project. This will include ensuring the associated learning is developed, delivered and assessed in order to meet the needs of this project timeframe, end users and the organisation.

Within this role, we are looking for the Operational Guidance Learning Co-ordinator to prepare and deliver learning around operational guidance and National Operational Guidance. This will include creating learning content to inform and develop operational staff and ensure that delivery methods are effective for a wide range of end user needs,  taking into consideration methods of learning and current adult education best practice, to ensure effective delivery.

The Operational Guidance Learning Co-ordinator will work in partnership with the Service Communication team to ensure that learning products are communicated effectively and delivered across the service.

To be considered for this role, you must be educated to level 4 as a minimum, preferably to degree level, or have equivalent level of theoretical knowledge. Possess knowledge of adult teaching and learning methodology and practice. Have experience in project management.

Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that you possess a full UK (Car) driving licence or the ability to travel between work locations, as you will be expected to work at different locations across our Service area.
