Chief Fire Officer

Salary: £124,404

Reporting to the Chief Executive you will be a driven and inspirational leader with excellent communication skills who can build on our strong, community focused service and further develop the long term vision and strategy to take us to an outstanding service.

Our fire-fighters go above and beyond in challenging circumstances and we are committed to continue to enhance and grow a strong and representative workforce .

Based in Lincoln, you will come with a track record of delivering transformational and sustainable change which will help us to improve and innovate.   Politically and commercially astute, you will work closely with councillors, colleagues across the Council and partner agencies.  We are actively engaged with Police and Ambulance Services as well as Regional Fire partners. Your ability to collaborate across these partnerships will be key to ensuring we continue to deliver a highly effective and efficient service to our communities.

You will have an impressive track record of improving and developing services, working with best value principles and an advocate of using technology to modernise practices and transform services. 

The successful candidate must achieve successful Lincolnshire Police vetting at Level 2 and hold proof of SC clearance (or will be required to apply if not already SC Cleared) for them to be employed and will also require a standard DBS check.
